Is Peasant to Paladin free to play?
Yes. It is free to download with no subscription. Optional rewarded videos can double gold or revive the castle, and a one-time Remove Ads purchase is available.
Do ads interrupt a run?
Rewarded videos are optional choices for doubled gold or a castle revive. Version 1.0.1 also improved ad breaks between waves. The one-time Remove Ads purchase supports an uninterrupted campaign.
Is the game still being updated?
Yes. The game launched November 5, 2026, and version 1.0.1 shipped November 7 with gameplay, ad-break, stability, and privacy improvements. Read the release notes.
What are the controls and challenge like?
It is a portrait castle-defense shooter built around aiming, prioritizing threats, and choosing buffs under pressure. The waves are hard on purpose. If a control feels unfair, tell the builder directly.
